Christmas enchants in Bagnaria

Christmas comes early in Bagnaria. And it enchants. It happens in the charming medieval village, in the heart of the enchanting landscape of Oltrepò Pavese, a locality that is preparing to warmly and festively welcome the 8th edition of the Christmas Markets in the small medieval village, which in 2023 falls on Friday 8 December..

This event has become a beloved tradition of the local community and is preparing to enchant visitors with its evocative atmosphere and typical products. More than a hundred selected exhibitors will delight visitors with food and wine delicacies, handicrafts and a wide range of Christmas souvenirs, while the sounds of pifferi and zampognari will fill the streets of the town centre, immersing visitors in an authentic Christmas atmosphere of festivity and tradition. Lovers of good food will be able to enjoy a cosy refreshment area with cold cuts, hot sandwiches, homemade cakes, pancakes and specialities such as mulled wine and roast chestnuts, culminating in tasty polenta with sausage or cheese from 12.30 pm.

Children's workshops and the San Germano Gospel Choir

The day will be enlivened by various activities and entertainment for all ages: the free concert of the San Germano Gospel Choir will take place at 4 p.m. in the evocative church of San Bartolomeo, while at Palazzo Malaspina the Boscovillaggio Association will organise workshops and fun activities for children. The little ones will be able to experience the magic of the Christmas season in the lively "Santa Claus Village", where in the afternoon they will have the pleasure of meeting the kind and generous Santa Claus himself.
